Hi everyone! Welcome back to school! Hope everyone had a restful break and is ready to take on the new school term :)

To welcome you back to school, Singsoc will be giving out free hot milo and kaya butter toast at various halls and school! Collect them at Bankside, Rosebery or Gardens halls between 9 - 10 am on Sunday 14 Jan. If you can't make it then, we will also be in school at the Student's Salon from 10 am - 12 noon on Tuesday 16 Jan. There are limited quantities available, so we suggest that you come down early. See you there!

2. ICAEW Careers Lunch for ASEAN Students

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) are hosting a Careers Lunch session on 15 January 2018 for LSE students with details set out in the attached flyer. There will be a line-up of ICAEW representatives from ASEAN countries providing you with information about job opportunities in Finance, Business and Accounting in those countries for graduates from the UK. They also will be talking you through the skills the employers are looking for.

3. MFA 2018 London Recruitment Trip

MFA will be conducting their yearly recruitment trip to London to recruit Singaporean students who are interested in the Foreign Service and would like to be considered for our internship programmes and Foreign Service Officer scheme. The details of the trips are as follows: Date: 9 to 11 February 2018 (Friday – Sunday) Venue: Singapore High Commission in London 9 Wilton Crescent, Belgravia, London SW1X 8SP, United Kingdom Interested students should apply by 19 Jan 2018. 4. LSE vs Imperial Football 11-A-Side (4 Feb)

Hello my athletically inclined LSE students (in particular the year 1s), the time has come for the annual LSE vs Imperial Singsoc 11 a side football match :) it's tentatively on 4th Feb 3pm so please keep that time free! In the meantime please stay tuned for more details, will probably organise a kick about or two before that!
