Hi everyone!! Hope your week has been going well! :) It's been a really cold and wet week and Yahoo Weather is telling me that it's going to get even colder this weekend so please remember to wrap up and keep warm!! This weekend also happens to be when Freshers Ball is happening - hope you are excited!! 1. Freshers Ball
Hi all!! Just a reminder that Freshers Ball is happening this Sunday!! Get ready for (hopefully) good food, entertaining performances and fun games (with prizes to be won WOW!!). Here are the details of the event: Venue: The Knights' Templar Date: 22nd October (Sunday) Time: 7pm onwards Dress code: Formal Theme: Mafia (don't actually know what this means but I guess just try your best to look cool ya) See you there :)
Students for Children Charity Project
Students For Children will also be holding a fundraising for our beneficiaries (Save the Children, Young Enterprise and Reach Out) during Freshers Ball! They are currently holding pre-sales for Polaroids and lucky draw tickets so do hurry because they only have limited number of Polaroids and tickets! Musical: Phantom of the Opera

Looking for something to chase away your Monday Blues? Fret not as the Singsoc Junior Committee will be organising a musical outing to watch Phantom of the Opera! Summary of musical A man who was deformed since birth known as Phantom falls in love with a vocalist, Christine. He privately teaches her and demanded for her to be given lead roles in the Opera House which allowed her to rise to fame and popularity. Despite Phantom's efforts, she falls in love with the arts benefactor and childhood acquaintance, Raoul. Phantom tries his best to separate the two to keep Christine by his side and goes through extreme ways to do so while Raoul tries to save her. Details of the musical outing are as follows: Details of the event Date: 13 November (Monday) Time: 7.30pm - 10pm Cost: £29.65 (after subsidy) Location: Her Majesty's Theatre, Haymarket, St. James's, London SW1Y 4QL For those who already signed up, please remember to complete your bank transfer payment before the stated deadline! 4. Singsoc AGM
Hi everyone, Singsoc will be holding our Annual General Meeting to elect the new exco next month. Below are the details of the AGM: Date: 22 Nov 2017 (Wednesday) Time: 6pm Do keep this date free for now!! :) Only those who have purchased membership via the LSESU website will be allowed to come to our AGM, so do make sure you've bought membership by then (it's only £1.50)!! :)
