We are looking for students interested in joining our 2018 summer internship in HK, Singapore or China within our Markets division. We are interested in penultimate year students of all degree backgrounds (graduating in 2019).

Company Description: TAEL Partners invests in influential minority positions in leading growth-oriented family-owned businesses. Our growth private equity funds have more than US$1 billion assets under management. To learn more, please visit www.taelpartners.com We seek a summer analyst for our 10-week long summer program beginning in June. Summer analysts will be based in our Singapore office, and may be given the opportunity to spend a week in our regional office in either Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or Jakarta, Indonesia. First year and penultimate year students are preferred. Due to the regional nature of our business, South-east Asian nationals are preferred. The closing date for applications is 31st March 2017; shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend interviews on a rolling basis. Job Description:
Conduct company and industry research
Assist in preparing investment committee pitches
Investment idea generation process and deal execution
Performing due diligence procedures
Preparing comparable companies and precedent transactions to ascertain valuation of target companies
Assist in developing financial models
Expectations:
Interest in a career in private equity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent analytical, research and organisational skills
Uncompromising attention to detail and execution of instructions
Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or relevant analytical disciplines. Applicants with disciplines not in Finance and Accounting should have demonstrated interest in finance
Strong academic track record and intellectual curiosity
Previous internships in corporate finance, private equity or audit
Comments
