1. Global Village Week @ the LSE
Global Village Week meant food, food and food. Bringing Milo, Kaya Toast, Pineapple Tarts, Kopi and love to the masses, we spread the Singaporean-ness and the kaya to the LSE population.
2. Welfare Brownies from Konditor and Cook
Time to chill! Just before the mid-term break, SINGSOC and a member decided that it was time to sweeten things by providing brownies from Konditor and Cook.

1. Undergraduate Careers Week (UCW) 2016
From 14-18 March, LSE Careers is running Undergraduate Careers Week (UCW). This is a dedicated range of seminars and events tailored for undergraduate students including drop in CV checks, a chance to meet alumni, and more. All students are welcome, including those of you who aren’t sure what career path you want to take. 2. How to Improve Your Networking Skills

Successful networking can go a long way to impressing employers and securing a job. In this event you will learn how to network effectively and build strong professional relationships to support you in both your job search and future career. This seminar will look at the do’s and don’ts of various situations from networking at fairs, managing social situations at employer events and generally how to build and maintain contacts.
3. "What recruiters want" - An Insider View
Wednesday, 17 February, 1-3pm, NAB 1.04
Delivered by Jonathan Cohen who has over 30 years in HR and recruitment for leading global companies, this interactive seminar will cover the 'do's and don'ts' of applying for roles. Building on a wealth of experience this seminar will be useful for any candidate applying for roles in corporates.
